So, we have a lot of MMO's released in the recent years and very few managed to really stand out. I'm wondering if A:IR will have what it takes. It certainly looks beautiful, but so did many other. Other games like these generally failed mainly because of their lack global support. They failed to build a strong brand throughout the international community. So I'm wondering where is this game being made available? You're going global? Or just US/EU/Asia? There are huge markets often being underestimated by developers, like Brazil (South America in general) and Philippines/Malaysia. These people love MMO's. Philippines/Malaysia are generally covered because they are relatively close to China/South Korea, which are a priority market. But South America is always underestimated. Games like Black Desert failed because they offered poor support in emergent countries: they had the game released in Brazil but the servers were located in NA, terrible ping made the game unplayable and lead to rage in community and general backlash for their brand in the long term. It's like they think they can release poorly optimized products because people in those countries aren't as developed as other priority markets like US/EU, I don't know. So my advise for you is if you're going to release it, go all in. Half assed products will backfire.
