Will this game have trinity mechanics, or is it mostly FFA?

    The class descriptions so far put it firmly into the realm of a trinity MMO. However, releasing the game with less healers and DPS than Tera seems underwhelming. I do hope more classes are added before the release of the game.

    On that note, what kind of PvE content can we expect? I'm already looking forward to Bluehole's second attempt at creating good mass PvP content.

    Going from the classes, there is a possibility for a trinity system.

    I do hope that we see large complicated dungeons and a lot of PVE focused content.

    Hopefully dungeons and raids, also hard quests requiring people to group up would be a must because I've seen too much solo content amongst MMO this year.

    Yeah, I'd love to see dungeons that actually have interesting mechanics to them and not just boring tank and spanks that don't have to group up for.

    I'd personally like both, an option to run a dungeon in a solo mode, with less loot and capabilities and larger versions of dungeons with extra areas, different bosses and mechanics for bigger parties.

    For me I prefer running in groups and raiding in larger parties and would prefer the focus went there instead of splitting the focus and doing a solo version and a larger version. While I do think there should be solo content for solo players I just hope its not done at the cost of interesting and fun group dungeons.

    In my opinion, it's an MMO and has to be focus on the multiplayer experience instead of the solo one so I do hope that the solo part is small, very small.

    I agree with that, as long as the focus isn't taken away from where the focus should be - which is group content, then they could branch off to do a solo experience with much like I previously described. It allows for lots of different types of players to enjoy the game in different ways. Group content will always be the main focus, and should be the main focus of MMOs, as well... the name suggests it is a multiplayer experience.

    Solo content should not be endgame content, especially in a trinity mmo. It should at best be farming for downtime, or otherwise just something to ease players into endgame content.

    I just don't want the only endgame to be instanced dungeons/raids or instanced pvp.

    Keep the world relevant for once, dang it.

    More ideally (this is a personal opinion), bring back open dungeons and raids!
    Probably won't happen, as much as I wish it would :(

    As long as the world is actually popping though, and this isn't ONLY a queue simulator, I'll be good.

    I honestly hope the whole trinity system becomes a thing again in this upcoming game, makes an MMORPG so much more fun!
    Furthermore hoping to see dungeons & big raids as well as perhaps special world bosses, but I don't know how well the game will be optimized so there's the chance of world bosses become an absolute LAG FEST!!

    Indeed, the optimization is obviously what could turn most massive fights into a total mess but they just said in the FAQ that A:IR only reached 60% of its development and still has a lot of things to refined.

    Only thing is that BHS isn't quite known for their optimization, as they seem to have failed at it in both TERA and PUBG... but perhaps they have learned from their mistakes and give us some nice optimization, lmao. :D

    I am hoping for the trinity system in this game. While there is only 1 tank and 1 healing option at release, I think that will be enough since there are going to be 2 subclasses for each class.

    I would like to see some instanced dungeons and raids for PvE content. The RvR aspect seems like it will handle all the open world PvP that is desired. I'd like to see some world bosses that spawn (including like pirate airships bosses), that create a PvE and PvP experience.

    I am of the mindset that less is more. FF14 has TOO many classes, too many overlaps. I think keeping it simple and limiting the amount of classes is a good thing.

    Not to mention also a money making scheme. Release classes 1 by 1 for $$$ over the years like TERA/BDO for example... The same company in charge of AIR. I don't expect they'll change that business model.
