Just a question if the game with has a cosmetics system like Black Desert.

Where a user can edit appearance as much as they want as long as they have a (VALUE PACK) or if users will be forced to spend ($10) Real Life cash or any money at all for every appearance change.

Will the game have cosmetic items like in Black Desert?

How does Enchanting work will it be similar to Black Desert, or you fail an item is lost completely?

Generally looking at playing this with some friends, but if the game is Pay 2 Enjoy, and not on the same level as Black Desert where users can freely customize appearance, and buy cosmetics for $20-$35 I don't want to even waste my time.

The developers haven't announced their business model as of yet, but I sincerely hope it doesn't follow the Black Desert approach of locking things that should be free behind a paywall, but we won't know for sure until they officially announce it. Hopefully a beta test will be coming soon aswell :)

I invested around 2k$ in to BDO. Surprisingly no regrets. So BDO model works.

Yeah I would still like an answer from the Devs before purchasing this game I don't really mind a business model like "Black Desert Online"

But in Black Desert Online for $15 a month I can freely customize my character, change Dyes, full appearance at any time (FREE) or rather $15 a month only.

^ This is compared to Aion, and NCSoft as well as many other titles charging $8+ to change appearance (I DO NOT WANT TO BUY, Play, or Support a game like this.)

Buying cosmetic unlocks like in Black Desert such as a $30 costume is fine though.

And i spoke too soon. Last 3 weeks of changes made me regret i spend 2 years of playing that game and 2k$.

The Developers are totally ignoring players feedback, and continue to change the game beyond recognition.

Hopefully A:IR will come soon so i will have MMO to play once again.

I WILL play this game is it is NOT P2W! when i say P2W i didn't mean about cosmetic and stuff. When the cash shop has more better gear and enchantments to offer....., its P2W. Let's all hope it WILL NOT BE that way of business. Really have a high hope for the A:IR and don't let down on ur own players. Most MMO dies cuz of it.

You can actually see how Net Profits dropped significantly in 17 4Q. This was the time when players were really unhappy with Mystic release delays and server problems.

Considering what is happening now, they will definitely go negative in 18 Q2. Unless their mobile and console release can pull them through this BDO crisis.

A:IR is a game that "When you think it's 2018 and you have played all sorts of MMO's there are and expect same old same old, and here comes a new one with new features you haven't experienced before."
