More pictures of the sort "not exactly 100% steampunk, but will fit in pretty well".

Needs some steampunk-y ornaments for the hat(goggles if really poor on imagination), fancy pocket watch, for the belt buckle a fancy cogwheel looking construction that holds some sort of a powersource or serves as an emergency light and a left hand bracer with some fancy steampunk-y attachments. Maybe some decorative dagger etc.

This just needs some fancy goggles - instant steampunk. Steampunk witch, to be precise. Combine this with the fancy staff from post #19. A fancy steampunk-y mechanical arm like in the picture below would probably be breddy gud, too:

Google shows quite a lot of steampunk-related stuff when searching for "Lady Mechanica" and I quite like the style of these comics. But IMO most of the attires that are used there are good only in a setting with a limited amount of characters at a time, as the general shape repeats itself over and over again. What is fine for 10 characters in a single comic issue might become visually fatiguing with hundreds of players you'd usually encounter in an MMO.

    Will fit in.

    Niiiice.

    Badass for Assassin class:

    Can be an NPC:

Change some parts, especially the eye patch, into more steampunkier ones and replace the weapon glow with electricity - will fit in:

Really nice hat down here. But honestly this is the kind of obnoxious 100% same-y steampunk outfit I am really tired of by now:

Enemy NPC idea, needs to look slighty more steampunk-y, but the direction is clear:

    Would fit in, IMO:

Dress design from the waist up looks really neat:

Simple and elegant. Add some steampunk-y details as needed.

And continuing the series of "not 100% steampunk but...":

Replacing the checkered parts on the thighs with a fishnet design would look pretty interesting, IMO. Also some random cogwheels and a hat - 100% steampunk.

    p.s.:

This one too, might fit in:

    Time for a new round.

    Obvious over-the-top steampunk.

    2 possible enemy designs:

Has a steampunk-y vibe to it. A cogweel here and there would be enough.

Not very original, but kind of nice nontheless.

Stuff that would fit the game, with some adjustements etc.

I think something like this one below might be already in the game for gunners.

Change the strange tusks/tooths into steampunk-y attachments and this could be a really fashionable steampunk design:

Nothing special, merely something simple and nice:

Dress needs to be shorter for battle, otherwise something interesting for magical classes.

And well, Warhammer 40k - I'm pretty certain there is some steampunk-y stuff going on here:

    Sort of:

Stuff that would fit in after attaching some steampunk-y stuff here and there:

Just like the armours of the Queen and a certain admiral NPC who are already in the game - very opulent, knightly, royal-like style:

    Simple and attractive, still immersive:

Please don't delete your Artstation account again, Mr Dongho Kang. Awesome style.

    Same artist, simply nice.

Change metal colour to brass/copper and put some goggles on the head - sufficiently steampunk-y:

Seems okay for a gunner or assassin.

This one below is so incredibly pretty and classy. Not actually steampunk, but IMO it is fairly easily to imagine the ornament on the arm and hand as some steampunky mechanical enchancement. One could probably also imagine the roses as some sort of magical/energy crystals which are shaped like roses sitting in steampunky sockets(some cogwheels, obviously!). Would go really well with my suggestion for a new class, I think.

If the devs would think about creating an NPC faction of mechanical beings(complementing all the strange mechanical fortress-like entities in A:IR's sky at the moment), something like this would be pretty cool, I'd say:

Certainly beats a random dude in a hat with goggles for a boss encounter, IMO.

Let's celebrate the news that A:IR was (maybe, hopefully?) made to suck a little less with some fresh steampunk pictures.
