Who We Are
Ebonguard is a guild of experienced friends and gamers from multiple backgrounds, countries, and games who have come together for Ascent: Infinite Realm. We are a PvX guild, however, we will be rolling on a PvP server. We will be focusing on PvP and combat primarily, but also with a secondary focus on commerce and economy to support our PvP habits. We are a newer guild, meaning everyone who joins are on the same footing. You will not be the new guildie trying to fit in with a group of gamers who have been together for a decade plus. This also gives us an opportunity to build a group of players who are solely focused on A:IR.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for members who are interested in PvP and PvE of course, who seek to bring balance and order to the world of A:IR. We expect our members to be active, helpful, and students of the game. Just because we are focusing primarily on PvP does not mean you need to be a PvPer. We have a structure in place that facilitates both kinds of players. If you want to stick primarily to one or the other, we will support you, but at some time you may be asked to help in other tasks outside of your lane in order to progress the guild. To reiterate, PvP-only players will be asked to help in PvE efforts if it is necessary and vice-versa.

Our Expectations
The majority of us are adults- with families, jobs, and lives. We do not expect a 24/7 80+ hr/wk gaming commitment. We are, however, looking for active participation. If you are unable to be around due to real life responsibilities, we understand. Being gone for a week post-release or during major events without notification will most likely lead to an officer reaching out to determine the member's status. If we have guild events that require mass participation, we ask that you be there if you are online. We also want our members using VoIP, even if they are muted, during PvP or these events for coordination purposes.

I have to pay this group the best compliment that I can: they seriously don't suck. Lol. I'm confident they're going to find some good PvP and I can expect them to play at a moderate to high level. This group knows how to do their research; we'll be organized. We will have good resources and up-to-date info that will be shared. Being a part of this group will be fun but beyond that, it will also help you become a stronger, more efficient player.

We are a smaller guild at this time, sitting at around 30+ members, but we are built around A:IR and active. We already have had the opportunity to welcome several members since this posting, and look forward to many more.
